Are you an experienced and motivated Automation, Control, FAS (Fire Alarm System), Electrical Engineer or Manager, and do you want to leave your mark on the global energy transition? If so, we want to hear from you!
Your position
In your new position as Manager in the Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Automation & FAS team whose mission is to supply best in class automation and integration of subsystems for unmanned offshore substations. Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg the hub of the Danish energy industry or in Copenhagen.
The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10 - 30 days per year.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Manager in the Automation & FAS team, you will be responsible for resource planning, technical solutions ranging from project development and standardisation to supporting design and execution throughout all phases of the projects.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
· Ensuring coherence of technical solutions across 7-9 projects within our project portfolio.
· Employing coordination and planning skills as we collaborate with our Product Line on technical innovation and digitalization, researching cost levels and engineering estimates for upcoming tenders.
· Demonstrating broad technical proficiency in automation, control, electrical design, preferably knowledge with Siemens S7/TIA portal and preferably Fire Alarm Systems would be an advantage.
· Taking responsibility for updating and maintaining our technical requirements and specifications, in consultation with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, ambitious and brings a positive attitude. You have practical experience working with similar solutions and installations, and potentially you have “hands-on” experience from working with integrating and getting the systems up and running on a construction site.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
· A technical educational background, such as marine engineer, electrical engineer or similar within the field of automation and control or related domains.
· Preferably experience from a leading role - you don’t want to leave the technical expertise completely and you like working with development of people.
· High standards and are eager for sharing your knowledge with the Team, Projects, and the Department.
· Good communication and problem-solving skills; you can delegate effectively and work best from a calm profile and structured overview.
· Great written and verbal communication skills in English as we work internationally.
