Your mission and how you’ll make an impact
You will join an ambitious team with different backgrounds who is looking for someone to complement us so we can continue to drive continuous improvements with both safety and sustainability in mind.
This is a perfect role for you who likes it when one day it’s not like the other. You will foremost be part of a team which works with implementation of new automation and cybersecurity projects as well as troubleshooting/optimization at all our production units in the Nordics.
You are also responsible for the training of operation teams as well as integration of electrical functions, automation, supervision and alarm systems. In addition, you inspect and test the operation of electrical / control equipment and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments to ensure downtime is minimal.
As a part of our team, you will lead projects and have a close relationship with Production Managers in order to ensure Air Liquide has safe, efficient and innovative processes. As you will be visiting the different production sites in the Nordics, you can expect 10-80 days of travel a year, depending on the amount of projects.
If you’re interested in an international career, we expect you to later on carry out projects not only in the Nordics countries but also around our cluster (Benelux, England, Russia and Kazakhstan).
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you have an Engineering degree (Electricity/Automation/Mechanical or similar) with some experience in a similar role. You are also experienced within cybersecurity and design of electrical / automation systems in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
As a person, we believe you are driven and able to communicate on all different levels. In order to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, we believe you are a proactive multitasker who has a sense for details. Thanks to having a good overview of the task in front of you, you are able to adapt your priorities and provide new solutions if the project quickly takes a new turn. You are described by your team and customers as reliable and enjoy sharing knowledge in order to improve our work.
Our highest priority is safety and having a sustainable awareness in our processes, it’s therefore important that you share this value.
It’s considered a plus if you have experience in systems such as Schneider Unity PLC, Siemens PLC, ABB Symphony Plus DCS, Intouch Wonderware HMI and ABB 800xA HMI System. You have a driver's license and speak at least one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) and have good knowledge in English, since it’s our corporate language.
Additional information
At Air Liquide, we understand that our success is built on engaged and happy employees, and we therefore ensure job security and work life balance. You will be a part of a small team of 6 with colleagues in Denmark (Hedensted), Benelux and Russia and report to Søren Mørk, DCS Specialist and head of department.
If you have any questions about the role, please contact Søren Mørk, tel +45 76 25 24 87.
Ready for your next challenge? Apply via the link no later than September 30. We will review applications as they come in, so don’t hesitate to send in your application already today!
This recruitment is handled by our in house recruitment team. For that reason, we do not want any contact from recruitment/consultancy agencies. Thank you!
