About the department
Our filling and inspection facility is ready to enter the next phase – now we are looking into a period of production ramp up, which in turn initiates many process optimization projects. You will be part of a project team of dedicated and talented academics and technicians working on expansion of the facility’s capacity. Our tone is relaxed, and if you enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from others, you will enjoy working here. The facility is located at our site in Kalundborg with approximately 350 employees. We are about 30 people in the project team.
The position
As our new IT/automation engineer in the project team your main responsibility includes designing the IT interface and PAS-X system to our new process equipment with the rest of the project team and vendors followed by recipe creation and validation thereof. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring necessary hardware (printers, scanners and clients) during the project. A successful IT interface to our new process equipment plays an important role in ensuring a good daily workflow for the operators in their future everyday job. The project period will take place over the next two years. Following the project, you will be part of the support team maintaining and optimizing the PAS-X setup to ensure it’s not only easy to operate, but also to maintain and optimize in the future. Being part of the project team will give you the benefit of following and understanding the full process, and the enjoyment of seeing the result of your delivery in operation.
The PAS-X system is the system tying the production to the process and IT/AUT. Thus, the role requires the ability to understand the three main stakeholders; The operators which are your future users; The IT/AUT department to enable the new solution to fit into the existing site infrastructure and the process and machine responsible who knows what is required from the machine.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a technical education along with experience in the related field. Experience and flair for IT and automation setup is a requirement. If you have validation experience and can optimize the validation concept used further, it’s a bonus as we aim to ensure patient safety in a simple way.
As a person, you are independent along with being a team player. You have a high level of drive, energy, flexibility, persistence and work well in a dynamic environment along with having a strong interpersonal and coaching skills. Furthermore, you have good convincing skills and have experience collaborating across boundaries. Danish in writing and speaking is a requirement.
