In Calatayud SPAIN ACTIV MEDICAL IBERICA SL is dedicated to the manufacture of medical devices for adult urinary incontinence and is part of the international AMD (Activ Medical Disposable) Group, which has another large production site in France (Rouvroy) and sales offices in the UK and Germany, as well as in Spain and France The Calatayud production site (built in 2018) has modern and innovative machinery in Europe and produces a complete range of absorbents for adult hygiene.

The company is looking for an Industrial Automation and Robotics Technician / Programmable Automation Systems Technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Supervising and carrying out the electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance of plant installations and automated production processes, in accordance with the maintenance and control plans.
  • Carrying out checking operations, fault localisation, adjustment and replacement of elements, returning them to working order. Support and repair.
  • Control and identification of replacement parts.
  • Configuring automated systems in accordance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Drawing up control programmes in technical conformity with the specifications and functional characteristics of the installations. Checking technical documentation.
  • Ensuring the operation and activation of safety systems.
  • Use of computer tools.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing technical solutions to recurring problems

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in industrial automation systems for production processes (configuration of installations and automatic systems according to specifications and regulatory requirements, assembling, testing and starting protocols, troubleshooting, supervision and maintenance of installations and equipment).(2 years)
  • Knowledge of industrial process control, electronic systems, instrumentation and control, robotics and automation.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical maintenance, mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of SIEMENS automatisms is an advantage.
  • Know how to analyse a need and be able to offer improvements.
  • Ability to adapt to the pace of production and work under pressure. Adaptation to new materials and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to change.
  • Communication: oral and written.
  • Discipline and vigilance.
  • Tidiness and cleanliness.
  • Intermediate English and Spanish

THE CONTRACT:

  • Permanent contract, full time 40 h
  • shiftworks (day-evening-night)
  • salary 30000/35000 euros gross/year
