Finance Business Partner, Landside Transportation

In your role you will work in a global function with product and financial stakeholders to drive several strategic initiatives and supporting key stakeholder’s decision-making process through data and analysis.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be expected to understand the business and work across the floor.

You will identify risks and opportunities for the business and provide relative insight to the Product, Finance and Leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring decision making is based on robust data, business cases and is underpinned by logical assumptions. Providing performance visibility and in-depth root cause analysis on performance fluctuations to drive L&S performance.
• Ensure we use and leverage simple and standard processes throughout the Regions and Areas.
• Drive value creation and handling performance management across departments, i.e.: KPI, Target setting, monthly forecasting and continuous financial performance tracking.
• Ensure full visibility across the Regions and Areas on the performance of Landside Transportation (LST) business.
• Provide analytical insight in productivity performance across Landside Transportation product based on actual performance. Own the development of productivity measures.
• Active collaboration, initiative and support across the LST community (Product team, Finance, Customer Experience, etc).
• Providing analytical support and problem solving for specific products/functions to promote business growth, as well as on ad hoc need.
• Drive effective usage of BI for forward looking performance discussions.
• Play a vital role supporting, enabling business stakeholders in implementing the L&S Strategy
• Be the finance focal to engage and collaborate on cross functional L&S projects.

The ideal candidate

Has a proven working experience as a Finance Business Partner or Senior Consultant in logistic companies. Ideally on Landside Transportation.

You:

• Outstanding financial acumen. Understands and is able to extract insights from PnL, balance sheets, understand projects KPIs such as cash flow, NPV, ROI, etc.

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, financial software applications and BI tools.

• Hands on experience with complex statistical analysis.

• Outstanding presentation, reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and analysis.

• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.

• Ability to identify data patterns for decision making.

• Must be detail oriented, able to work independently in fast paced environment under tight deadlines.

• Teamwork and collaborative attitude.
