As the Senior Finance Business Partner – Decarbonisation Financials, you will be part of Maersk’s Decarbonsation Finance team placed in our HQ in Copenhagen, reporting to the Head of Finance Decarbonisation.

You will develop consolidated views for decarbonization financials such as Capex and Opex, as well as trade off analysis for different abatement levers. A large part if the role will be to engage with business stakeholders at all levels to drive delivery towards our net zero target.

Key Responsibilities

You will be driving development of strategic decarb financial analysis that will underpin transformation to net zero, to answer the fundamental question of what it will cost to deliver on our net zero strategy across the business.

You will develop a solid view on trade-offs between different abatement levers and appropriate performance frameworks that supports delivery of our decarb targets in cost efficient way.

You will develop specific business cases for how these opportunities can be applied to our business, strategy for how to pursue and implement.

• Drive development of holistic decarb financials in close collaboration with business that will inform decision making towards net zero
• Develop end to end business cases for green products through cross-functional engagement
• Build up decarb financial optimisation model to enable trade off analysis and decision making across abatement levers
• Develop and implement appropriate performance frameworks and governance structures in collaboration with business stakeholders to drive business towards net zero
• Work closely with business stakeholders across the group to establish optimization tools to support decision making

Who we are looking for

A person with drive and impact to support Maersk’s ambition of getting to zero emissions, ready to take on this challenge.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years’ work experience and a Master’s degree in relevant field.

You have deep financial skills and knowledge of finance practices and demonstrated experience of application within a business context to drive performance and deliver value.
