Finance Assistant (bookkeeper) – Spanish speaking

At NORMAL, we are currently expanding our finance department and are looking for yet another finance assistant. As our finance assistant, you will become part of a team of 18 dedicated colleagues and you will play an important role for the future growth of the organization. As an international organization we wish to strengthen our relationship with the Spain part of the organization as well as Spain business partners and suppliers.

NORMAL is characterized by growth, fast pace and transformations. NORMAL has more than 450 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Holland, France, Finland and Portugal , and the organization continues to grow. During the next years, we will expand both in terms of new stores and new markets. The rapid and international growth puts demands on our organization with its headquarter located in Skanderborg, Denmark.

We have great plans for NORMAL in Spain and you will get the chance to join us on this adventure. We expect a very positive reception of the NORMAL concept in Spain, so we are looking forward to expand and open a lot of stores.

Responsibilities and tasks
You will have your own areas of responsibility, but you will also be part of a culture where we help each other. Your tasks will include:

• Responsible for the collaboration with our future Spanish colleagues
• Assist on the control of the payment flows, including support on making the payments
• Recording financial transactions like expenses, purchases and vouchers
• Communicating with Spanish-speaking vendors and entities
• Providing support to the finance team in other markets (mainly Portugal and France)

About you
You are openminded and positive, and you like working in a fast changing environment. You are a team player and have some years of experience with bookkeeping. You have good communication skills in English and Spanish and you are familiar with Excel.
