About the department
You will join Corporate Financial Planning, part of Business Finance, where we are responsible for securing financial management and driving value creation across the global organisation. You will be part of a young and dynamic finance department consisting of 45 dedicated employees split into 7 teams. We aim to act as true business partners based on strong financial competencies combined with a good understanding of the business in which we operate. We therefore collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation and invest significantly in developing our employees through e.g. close sparring and feedback, by giving a high level of responsibility to individuals and through our academy training programme.
The job
As Business Analyst in Finance Excellence & Projects you will be responsible for the budget processes and financial management in one or more areas across the Novo Nordisk value chain. You will be working closely with both the Line of Business, the Finance Partners in each management group and our colleagues in our global service centre in Bangalore. You will be responsible for the financial planning, provide senior management reporting and create the financial basis for decision making. In this role you will gain a strong finance toolbox, get a strong business understanding, interact with stakeholder across the organisation globally and get insights to the strategic priorities of Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, in order to optimise the financial processes and influence the development in Finance Excellence & Projects you will be involved in various projects as well as pre-pare ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree within business or economics with excellent results and are either about to graduate or have graduated recently with up to 2 years of relevant job experience. You have a strong drive, great analytical skills and a natural curiosity to learn about the pharmaceutical value chain. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and communication skills, including being fluent in English as well as being able to relate to people at all levels of the organisation. The atmosphere in Corporate Financial Planning is informal and builds on a strong team spirit, so if you are ready to walk the extra mile investing time and effort in your development, while holding on to your good sense of humour at all times, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
