Do you want to be part of a high-performing team in one of the worlds leading pharmaceutical companies? We are looking for one or more ambitious, dedicated professionals to join our team.
The position
You will be an instrumental partner to the CVP pf Corporate Accounting (and potentially other areas within Finance & Accounting), supporting key decisions processes and drive management processes including the business plan and financial planning. The role also includes coordinating internal activities (e.g. offsites and unit meetings), preparation of Audit Committee material as well as ad hoc presentations for various internal and external events.
You will also drive strategic projects both within Corporate Accounting and across Finance & Compliance.
The job offers frequent management interaction, cross-functional and international collaboration. Through your work you will be exposed to many different parts of Novo Nordisk, building a strong network across the company.
The Team
While you will work closely with the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Accounting and the Corporate Accounting Management team, you will be a part of a broader Management Support team, working across Finance & Compliance. Finance & Compliance is a specialized and ambitious unit with a truly global outlook – currently we are 16 different nationalities. In addition to Corporate Accounting, other units are Corporate Tax, Group Internal Audit and the Business Ethics Compliance Office. We work under the aspiration of safeguarding Novo Nordisk while creating value.
Qualifications
You hold a recent master’s degree from a university or business school, preferably within the field of Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. International experience from either studies or work is preferred. Ideally, you also have some experience within executive support, consulting or similar. You are a high performer with a strong track record of getting things done, an analytical mindset and strong Power Point skills. You are digitally savvy and as a person, you are open-minded, proactive, a team player, quality-focused and perform well under pressure. We see Management Support as the ‘glue’ in the organization, and thus you have strong integrative skills, as well as excellent stakeholder management and intercultural skills.
