About the department
An attractive opportunity has become available as a Financial Business Analyst in Global IT Operations (GITO). GITO has over the past 2 years grown exponentially due to globalisation of the IT function in Novo Nordisk. Therefore, GITO is looking for a Financial Business Analyst to support GITO with financial management, analysis and reporting.
GITO consists of 200+ employees across more than 25 countries with main hubs in Denmark, USA and India. Global IT Operations deliver core IT infrastructure & digital workplace services while helping to drive the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk.
The position
As Financial Business Analyst you will be involved in a wide variety of activities related to Financial Management of all our activities in GITO, e.g. daily dialogue and follow up, facilitate monthly financial reporting to the Finance Business Partner, financial development (costs, investments and headcounts), ensuring compliance with internal and external financial rules and requirements, and coordinating financial and budget related issues together with the Executive Assistant for GITO.
You will also be expected to support both larger projects and our vendor engagements in GITO with excellent financial management, analysis, and reporting.
You will be a key driver in ensuring that the financial processes in GITO is running as smooth as possible and bringing them to next value creating level, and we expect that you will be able to continuously improve financial processes in alignment with our Finance Business Partner.
You will be reporting directly to the Corporate Vice President of GITO.
Qualifications
You hold a background as MSc. Finance/Economics (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar) and have a solid understanding of Financial Management. Experience from a similar job will be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite. You enjoy working with figures, you thrive among many diverse stakeholders and have a curios mindset towards new systems, technologies and process improvement. Experience with SAP will be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
In your daily life, you work in a structured way and have a sharp eye for details. You can handle many tasks simultaneously, have a strong focus on quality and strive to deliver results. As a person you are open-minded, dedicated and a team-player. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial matters in a simple and understandable way. Your open mind and can-do attitude enable you to easily interact with employees at all levels in the organization. Lastly, you have excellent English oral and written skills.
A Danish working permit is a pre-requisite.
