About the Department
IT Sourcing & TBM is part of a support function under the so-called CIO Office. Our department is a key driver of IT sourcing, spend, finance & asset management activities on behalf of the Global IT organisation in Novo Nordisk. The department collaborates closely with management teams and finance functions in Novo Nordisk who are responsible for the management, financing and accounting of IT in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of an enthusiastic group of 8 team members that sets high standards and individual targets, but achieve them as a team.
The Job
Working with Apptio and Technology Business Management in Novo Nordisk involves:
- Managing and configuring our Apptio installation on an ongoing basis
- Working with IT spend and consumption data on a daily basis
- Establishing and driving various cost transparency and cost reduction initiative
- Assisting in improving and simplifying internal accounting and finance process within IT
- Assist in managing highly consumption based IT cost, e.g. public cloud cost
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in IT Sourcing to plan and execute data-driven negotiations of IT contracts
The ability to successfully interact with different stakeholders spanning from management to non-IT people to IT specialist is very important. The job involves a high degree of complexity and many different activities going on simultaneously. This requires that you have the ability to structure and simplify complex matters, while at the same time having a high degree of flexibility, independence and drive in your personal profile.
Ideal qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or economics. You have some relevant IT sourcing, or contracting experience and a track record in delivering strong results. You have solid people, reasoning, and analytical skills. You have the ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow-up in a proactive and timely manner. You are self-motivated, results oriented, and have the ability to collaborate across functions. You are a strong communicator and sell your ideas effectively. You are fluent in spoken and written English.
