The position as Senior Portfolio Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark. You will join an international marketing team with highly dedicated colleagues.
Optimization of the portfolio
As Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the value chain and in optimizating the portfolio within our Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring businesses.
Your primary areas of responsibilities will be:
You will be working closely with our global sales companies and distributors supporting their sales efforts.
Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
To succeed in this position, you need to have solid business understanding and a strong commercial and strategic mind-set. You are able to organize complex projects and you are able to find solutions and interact with multiple stakeholders across all functions. To do this you need to have an analytical and structured approach to your work which enables you to identify the key issues proactively. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional and informal teamwork.
You hold a degree in Business or Marketing, and you have some years of experience from preferably either a Global Marketing or Corporate position. However, relevant experience with the areas of responsibility in the position is the most important. It is an advantage that you have experience within the medical/pharma industry but not a pre-requisite.
As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills both in writing and oral and that you have a global mind-set in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities.

Optimization of the portfolio
As Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the value chain and in optimizating the portfolio within our Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring businesses.
Your primary areas of responsibilities will be:
- Optimization of the Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring portfolio including product rationalization, identify and manage strategic products and initiatives in collaboration with Markets and Product managers
- Responsible for assessment and prioritization of new products/initiatives and bringing them for decision as well as ensuring follow up on implementation
- Drive/support strategic projects in the Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring portfolio
- Assist Vice President, Global Product Management, Core with performance reviews and analysis of the business as well as presentation materials
