eg is looking for a strong Financial Analyst to contribute to the transformation of eg’s performance management setup, ensuring increased transparency and scalability in a growing business.
Driving performance in vertical software takes curiosity and drive
At eg, you will be a part of Group FP&A, that plays a crucial part in driving forecasting, in dept analysis and reporting and we serve as the anchor point for the group wide financial processes and the future performance management setup. eg is on a journey to become Scandinavia’s leading vertical software companies, with a constant ambition to grow, both organically and through acquisitions. Since the acquisition by Francisco Partners invested heavily, and completed 11 acquisitions in the last 18 months, expecting to continue the same pattern in the years to come.
As Financial Analyst you’ll join an open and sharing finance community with highly skilled colleagues. Group FP&A is part of Shared Services including more than 75 FTEs and covers areas from Finance Business Partnering, Operational Finance, Facility & Procurement, Data Analytics and Legal.
Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
You will report to the Head of Group FP&A, and the role will be based at the eg HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen or from our location in Aarhus.

Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
- Contribute to the transformation of eg’s performance management setup, by driving the performance management agenda to establish a best-in-class financial analytics setup, this includes a continuous focus on identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation and benefit realization from our new state of the art system setup. (Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
- Constant drive to improve methodologies and processes around reporting & analysis including non-financial topics
- Create transparency around the eg Financial performance, through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances and trends
- Take ownership for tracking and monitoring performance to plan vis-a-vis underlying KPIs and value drivers
- Take ownership for executing and guiding the business on all aspects of the annual and monthly planning and forecasting processes.
You will report to the Head of Group FP&A, and the role will be based at the eg HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen or from our location in Aarhus.

- Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholder across eg
- Successful development and implementation of the annual finance cycle
- Successful implementation of the new performance management setup
- Successfully integrate and collaborate with the finance community

Your qualifications and professional background include:
- 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst within corporate finance from a major consultancy firm (CFO Services) or from a business controlling position working with financial analysis and modelling.
- Strong toolbox across both technical and financial areas including data crunching in excel, data analytics, economics etc..
- Ability to turn analysis into action, using both analytics software and strong presentations skills.
- Commercial and business mindset for driving analysis – you understand a business and know how to use numbers and data to create value.
- Ability to influence strategic direction setting through analysis.
- You have a highly developed analytical mind allowing you to think critically and solve challenges while being mindful of the balance between going deep or going high.
- You have a constant desire to learn and challenge the established.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal and ideally proficient in Danish
- A relevant higher education, such as M.Sc. in finance, economics, statistics or a tech/business combination
