At GN Audio, you will join the small Product Portfolio Team who sits together with and collaborate closely with the larger Product Management team. We have a good mix of experience in the team and maintain a great relationship with the global teams even though we are spread out across the globe.
This position will ideally work out of Ballerup, though we are open to other locations.
We have ambitious targets to grow our business fast and profitably through a strong product portfolio with great experiences for our users. To succeed, we are looking for a strong product portfolio manager to drive priorities on our product and experience investment proposals on our journey to make the life and work of millions of people sound better.
Creating and maintaining a winning portfolio of products and experiences
As our new product portfolio manager, your overall target is to ensure that we make the correct prioritizations within our 5 business units when we select which products to progress with and use resources on. To do this, you will utilize our product data and inputs from stakeholders to thoroughly conduct analyses and further translate these results into understandable arguments that we will base our decisions on.
With that in mind, you will be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, each with their own agenda and business line to look out for. Therefore, a key task will be to facilitate these meetings and discussions to drive priorities for our portfolio plans.
Specific tasks include:

As a market- and business-focused individual with an analytical and strategic mindset, you enjoy solving complex problems that combine qualitative and quantitative data and insight. You are great at translating your analyses into tangible actions and decisions and present them in a simple way for your stakeholders.
As you deal with a wide range of stakeholders and opinions, you will need to build your networks within the company be an amazing facilitator when meeting and needing to decide on priorities. Here, your great people skills and professional acumen will come in handy as you need to stand your ground and still maintain an optimistic and positive atmosphere.

- Analyzing various product investment proposals for decision-making in collaboration with the 5 business teams and R&D
- Mapping the product opportunities against our internal capabilities, including capacity, budget and competencies
- Consolidating executable, prioritized portfolio proposals that drive the GN Audio strategy and business success optimally
- Driving improvement in how we plan and prioritize by combining easy-to-understand frameworks, an analytical approach and common sense

- Preferably have experience with turning strategy into concrete, meaningful and measurables plans
- Can balance strategic needs, execution capability, opportunity cost and risk and market impact to create concrete proposals throughout the portfolio life cycle
- Have great communication skills and are fluent in English
