As a part of this journey, the quality of our financial controlling and compliance reporting is increasingly important.
The Finance Hubs, part of LEO Pharma Global Finance, deliver financial controlling and monthly and annual reporting in IFRS to Group Accounting on behalf of all the affiliates for statutory and management reporting purposes, complete statutory financial statements and tasks related to local country direct & indirect tax and statistical reporting in tight collaboration with the specialized finance teams and our Compliance Process Operator, prepare internal and external audit materials, ensure the continued development of the financial control environment and compliance aspects of the affiliates as well as act as specialized finance partners to the country business teams.
As Senior Finance Specialist you hold a central role with the Finance Hubs where you:
You will be deeply involved in the development of future ways of working in the Global Finance function, why you will develop a substantial network throughout LEO Pharma organization to identify stakeholders to counsel and gain buy-in for the various process changes. Therefore, it is vital that you have a proven track record of succeeding in large finance organizations as well as possess a partnership and open mindset, ideally from an internationally company.

You must be ambitious and possess a strong drive when taking on new projects and tasks. You have excellent stakeholder management skills as your success depend on collaboration with other parts of the organization. You will report directly to Finance Director of Finance Hubs and be a part of the Finance Hubs leadership team. Further, you work in close proximity to the principal hub team in Ballerup and with 40 other, strong and committed colleagues globally in the Finance Hubs as well as a large number of key stakeholders across other functions in LEO Pharma.

Key finance processes and projects
As Senior Finance Specialist you hold a central role with the Finance Hubs where you:
- Lead, train, facilitate and coordinate the audit and statutory financial reporting process and engagement across all affiliates and towards other functional teams, including strong partnership with the legal department around the local Annual General Meetings of our affiliates
- Execute on strategic Finance projects by defining and following up on key milestones, facilitating inputs and leadership ambassadorship in order to step up on process efficiency and financial compliance
- Support and act as finance subject matter expert and anchor on several compliance processes and optimization projects such as compliance operator deliveries and global payroll outsourcing.

Qualifications
We imagine that you have;
- A masters’ degree in Accounting, Audit, Economics or similar as well as some years of experience from an international audit firm
- Solid accounting knowledge and practical experience together with potentially financial controlling experience
- Project delivery and management experience from a large, international company
- Strong and proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and building solid customer relationships
- Excellent communication skills as well as an analytical and strategic mindset.
