Supporting an international Business Finance function

Become a part of Business Finance in LEO Pharma’s most diverse region



As our Business analyst you will become part of Region International and GBU Thrombosis, one of three business critical regions in LEO Pharma. The region is growing fast and is very diverse, covering LEO affiliates all over the world. Business in Region International covers markets in Asia, Middle & South America, the Middle East, Africa and Russia and Thrombosis GBU are mainly represented in European markets. Over the past years we have intensified our focus on developing our regional Business Finance function and strive to deliver best-in-class business partnering to the commercial side of the business. To do so we need to be in close dialog with our Business Finance colleagues in our local markets to gain knowledge about market dynamics and business insights. Besides being a commercial sparring partner, we are also the link between Global Business Finance and local Business Finance functions ensuring that global process (e.g. Rolling Forecasts, Business Development and Strategy projects) run seamlessly.

Your primary tasks will be to:



Support the organisation within Region International HQ (EVP, VP & Directors) with best in class business partnering in order to achieve ambitions set in the Playing to Win framework.
As Business Analyst you will be involved in various numbers of projects organization across different areas within both global finance and the commercial organization in Region International.

Secure alignment between commercial assumptions and financial outlook in Rolling Forecast and Long Term Forecast where the end-to-end process ownership for the region lies within the Business Analyst role. Customer focus is key in these major deliverables in order to create a clear financial picture for the future with known risks and opportunities.

Own Regional International management reporting suite, providing timely and user friendly reporting of gross sales, net sales, OPEX and patient solution profitability. Continually seek to simplify efforts required to deliver reporting across the region. Collaborate with CfA to deliver a single global reporting package.

Quickly respond to ad-hoc queries from business partners and Finance management with clear, accurate analysis and recommendations which are easy to follow and understand.

Provide insightful Business Finance analysis which accelerates revenue growth whilst identifying OPEX reduction opportunities e.g. marketing investment ROI analysis, Life Cycle Management scenario analysis, resource portfolio analysis.

Lead the Regional International Finance analyst community to foster strong team spirit, understand system needs and drive analysis best practice.

Important tasks:



• Deliver best in class business partnering to Vice President and Senior Director in Region International HQ
• Finance owner for Regional International budgets. Put in place monthly reviews with budget owners providing clear monthly variance analysis. Lead forecast updates. Ensure accuracy of forecasts with no surprises. Identify cost savings opportunities
• Own the Long Term Sales Forecast for Regional International including alignment of assumptions with business partners and ensuring buy-in to the forecast from business partners and cluster VPs/FDs.
• Manage consolidation of the business review forecast process across the region. In collaboration with CfA provide a robust, accurate XL template well in advance of the deadline date to enable easy slide creation for the clusters
• Close collaboration with student assistant to deliver extra capacity to create more space for value adding analysis
• Drive simplification and being an expert on SAP, excel and PowerPoint
• Lead system improvement input on behalf of Regional International the FMI team and SAP BPC/BI training across the region

Your profile:



• You have a higher relevant education such as MSc, BCom, HD(R) or similar.
• You have experience - either from a similar position as Business Partner, Business Controller, Business Analyst, or from a position as auditor or consultant from which you are accustomed to the consultant and/or advisor role.
• You are high energy, energetic, result oriented, and enterprising and you thrive in the role of counsellor and have a strong "customer gene".
• Furthermore, you are detail oriented while managing to stay organized and meeting deadlines.
• Personally you are trustworthy and reliable as you will be interacting with senior levels of the business
• SAP experience a plus
• It is required that you are fluent in speaking and writing English at a high level and that you are an experienced IT user, including strong Excel and data analytical skills.

You will report and work in close collaboration with the Finance director for Regional International and Thrombosis Global business unit. The job is based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. The working You can expect to travel to support colleagues on projects across the region.
