We are looking for a new Portfolio Manager with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and drug development and with a strong interest in processes, data quality and structure, and keeping overview in a busy environment. You will report to the Director of R&D Strategic Portfolio Management and your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the enforcement of the LEO Pharma project and portfolio governance
- Supporting the LEO Pharma organization by ensuring ONE source of truth on project and portfolio data and information
- The job will require close engagement with colleagues and stakeholders across the LEO Pharma organization at all levels giving you a great opportunity to develop your collaboration competences.
The job
As the portfolio manager you will be responsible for supporting the LEO Pharma project and portfolio governance both with day-to-day tasks and with projects that improve the overall set-up for project and portfolio management – all with the aim to meet the strategic goals.
- Drive execution of the governance boards related to the research and development of the LEO Pharma project portfolio including all coordination around meeting preparation, execution, and follow up
- Ensure that all project and portfolio information is captured and reports are prepared and consistently communicated across the organization
- Capture internal and external benchmarks and information on pharmaceutical research and development to support performance of the LEO Pharma project portfolios
- Preparation of various materials for governance boards
- Drive relevant cross functional initiatives by preparing and delivering specific project and portfolio analysis
- Drive initiatives to improve processes, tools or standards relevant for the governance of projects and portfolios
- Drive preparation of portfolio scenario predictions to be used for strategic discussions and decisions on the LEO Pharma portfolio
Your qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with minimum 4-6 years of experience from pharmaceutical industry where you have achieved a good understanding of pharmaceutical research and development. We expect that you have an educational background at Master level and preferably within science.
As a candidate you have a strong personal drive and the ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally and on all levels of the organization. You are a role model when it comes to understanding the need for effective processes and will be the guide to ensure the organization follows. You have a structured approach and an analytical mindset while still keeping an overview in a dynamic environment. You are known for your open and positive mindset. Additionally, you are proactive and take a joint responsibility for creating a motivating and fun atmosphere to work in.
Your new team
You will join a small, dedicated team that collaborates closely to effectively deliver on the tasks in a – at times - busy environment. The R&D Strategic Portfolio Management resides in the R&D Portfolio and Program Leadership in Global Research and Development. The team is responsible for the overall LEO Pharma Project and Portfolio Governance and the associated processes and reporting. You will be based in our office in Ballerup but will interact with colleagues around the world.
