About the opportunity

As our new Investor Relations Associate, you will have a unique opportunity to influence our investor relations efforts. You will work closely with top management, primarily CEO and CFO, to set the strategic direction for investor presentations and other investor material in Ambu.

Working out of our headquarters in Ballerup, you will have an exciting and fast-paced job in a newly established team. You will hold a key position in Ambu where your efforts matter and are very visible for top management as you will identify, analyze and recommend the direction for our shareholder analysis.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Drive a continues shareholder analysis and use this analysis to organize investor roadshows and plan participation in investor conferences. This also includes ensuring meetings for management and calendar arrangement of investor calls
  • Write quarterly and annual report in collaboration with the finance and communications departments – you will be responsible for the strategic part of the report
  • Complete general analysis, decision material and recommendations to Ambu top management and the Ambu Board of Directors as needed
  • Prepare quarterly investor PowerPoint presentations and other strategic presentations to management
  • Develop and maintain our internal valuation model


  • Overtime, we also imagine that you will take investor calls and communicate directly with external stock analysts.

    Being an employee of a global company, there will be a certain level of travel activity, approximately 10 to 20 days a year, primarily in Europe and USA.

    A strong commercial mindset and great Excel and writing skills
    You need to have a strong commercial mindset. You must be energetic and have a solid toolbox of analytical and strategic skills to be successful in the job. It is important that you have a structured and systematic approach to your tasks. You need to have sublime interpersonal skills as you will work with professional internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you proactively manage your own work and navigate within the team and organization to find the help and support needed.

    It is crucial that you have strong oral and writing skills in both Danish and English as you will write part of the annual and quarterly reports. You also need to have strong PowerPoint skills and it goes without saying that you need to master Excel on a high level and have an overall understanding of valuation models incl. a DCF model but it is not a requirement and the most important is your writing and presentation skills.

    Your educational background must be minimum a master’s degree within Economics or Business.

    Preferably a couple of years of experience from consulting, a corporate strategy/ M&A function, an investment bank or fund. We are looking for a strong team player who is passionate about delivering results.
