Corporate Product Manager with a strong commercial and clinical understanding
The visualization product management team is now searching for a Corporate Product Manager within urology to drive the commercial agenda for an upstream project and a global product launch in the visualization product range. The position as Corporate Product Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark. However, you could work out of another country as you will join an international marketing team with highly dedicated colleagues.
Our visualization portfolio includes a range of products within video laryngoscopy, single lung ventilation, bronchoscopy, ENT and soon urology, all centered around the aScope product range. The aScope is a single-use flexible endoscope - an innovative product, which is developed and manufactured by Ambu and recognized by doctors worldwide. With the latest member of the aScope family, introduced in March 2019, the aim is to penetrate existing market segments as well as enter new segments with new product launches.
Key responsibilities
As Corporate Product Manager your responsibilities will be to
Drive the commercial agenda and activities to obtain the ambitious growth of your product range and get this included in the development and launch activities Drive the day to day commercial agenda in the development of new products as well as provide business support to our sales territories Understand and convey customer needs, market and business input to ensure the right customer and business-centred focus in product development Represent the customer needs and the business case for Ambu in the product development projects via market/customer insights Map out market size, potential and competitor actions in relations to new product areas and market entry
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid business and clinical understanding and a strong commercial mindset. You have several years of experience as Product Manager and it is an advantage that you have experience from the medical device industry and preferably urology. Your experience has given you the ability to learn new therapeutic areas fast and the ability to understand the user needs that drives innovation.
It is natural for you to work in a manner where you can present your analysis, your findings and recommendations in a convincingly.
You hold a degree in healthcare, business or marketing.
As person, you have a strong analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterised by cross-functional teamwork.
