Reporting to the IT Service Manager, as our IT Asset Manager you will be responsible for the global management and control of licenses and its respective lifecycle with focus on software asset management, software compliance, maintenance renewals. As the Onsite Support Specialist, you will be part of a global team consisting of three Service centers placed in Hungary, US and China, and other skilled onsite support specialists. The Service Center will handle all requests and Incidents that can be handled remotely and reach out to you when onsite support is needed.
Your main tasks will include:
As Asset Manager (70%)
As Onsite Support Specialist (30%)
IT Asset Manager and Onsite Supporter with a pro-active and team player attitude
To succeed in this role, you need to be service-oriented, able to multitask and are self-driven. You have excellent communication skills, also with non-IT people. You are proactive, you have a self-learning spirit and you enjoy being part of a team. You also have excellent English skills in reading, writing and speaking, which will make you able to communicate with your international colleagues.
You have at least 1 year experience in a similar IT Asset manager role. It would be great if you have knowledge about the Software license Management tool, SNOW, and support experience in supporting Windows 10, Office365, AD,but this is not a requirement.

As Asset Manager (70%)
- Handle IT requests for software
- Ensure that all PC’s are communicating to our license management tool
- Manage IT Contracts and Software License Management activities
- Determine optimal licensing for business units, IT teams and supporting negotiations in software procurement
- Control the day to day operations of the IT software asset management
- Align with internal customers to determine needs for IT contracts and licensing
- Manage licensing inventory and recommend how to maximize investment in software assets
- Align enterprise-wide annual software true-up and support renewals, co-term possibilities and cost reduction opportunities
- Support compliance in software licensing, and support or perform software supplier compliance audits
As Onsite Support Specialist (30%)
- Manage Incidents until they are resolved, and the end-user has confirmed
- Handle Service Requests for new PC’s, Mobile devices, and other end-user IT equipment
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining.
- Provide end-user support for all agreed applications
- Ensure that IT procedures/processes are being followed
- Maintain knowledge database with relevant information
- Adhere to Global frame agreements and standards, e.g., regarding PC’s, printers and software purchases
- Provide required IT related hardware and software training for end-users
- The management and implementation of Local and Global IT Projects
