Georg Jensen A/S is currently looking for an ambitious Group Financial Controller with solid experience within financial controlling and / or auditing to join our Global Finance organisation with reference to the Finance Director.
You will be part of a dedicated team in a dynamic environment. The Finance team is located at our beautiful headquarters in Copenhagen and comprises accounting for both our HQ and Shared Service Centre (SSC), financial and business controlling as well as the group treasury function.

Your responsibilities:
- Full scope of external IFRS reporting, incl. preparation of consolidated financial statements for Georg Jensen A/S and approval via audit committee
- Spearhead an effective and efficient audit process on a group level and for the companies managed by the SSC
- Coordinate submission of financial accounts for countries within SSC outside Denmark
- Optimisation of existing procedures for consolidation and reporting – including the day-to-day collaboration with subsidiaries
- Prepare consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and setting the standards for the groups’ accounting policy
- Support internal reporting on a monthly basis, including review of consolidation
- Financial controlling on a corporate level; planning, preparation, execution and follow up
- Prepare tax returns for the Danish joint taxation
- Review and update Transfer Pricing documentation
The ideal candidate has the following competences:
- Minimum 2+ years’ post-qualification experience from a similar position working with IFRS and financial controlling in an international setting
- Alternatively, extensive experience from the audit industry with auditing of major Danish companies incl. hands on experience preparing annual reports in accordance with IFRS
- Natural business curiosity combined with a true financial mind-set
- Ability to work well under pressure and be results oriented
- Team player who is proactive with a high drive
- Knowledge of AX12 and Prophix desirable but not required. Must have solid MS Office skills, especially Excel super-user
- A Master’s degree in economics e.g. Cand. Merc. Aud. or secondary HD in Finance / Management Accounting
- High proficiency in both written and oral English and Danish, with excellent communication skills
