Then we need you to spearhead the ITIL way of working in DSV while gaining a large network across the organisation.

We are 9 colleagues in Denmark and 17 colleagues globally working closely together in a dynamic and informal environment, where we are not afraid to speak our minds. Here, you will join one colleague in the IT Asset & Configuration Management team – a process-oriented team where we will set the tone within our area of expertise.

Work on our Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB)
In DSV, all of our services are supported by IT services in the shape of applications and infrastructure. And all of those come together in our CMDB.
In a role similar to that of a CI librarian, you will be responsible for ensuring that the data mapping in the CMDB is as accurate as it can be with reference to the ever-changing conditions in DSV. Alongside your colleague, you will be a CMDB ambassador to the business, ensuring that we have the right processes, that these are followed and that we have good data quality.
This requires working with a number of stakeholders across the business as you:
The skillset of a CI Librarian
You excel at stakeholder management, have an outgoing personality, and you are a skilled communicator who can gather people on the same path towards success. Moreover, you are able to prioritise and highlight which resources are needed and where. We imagine that you:
Finally, you have a high level understanding of at least 3 of the following technologies: Citrix, Enterprise Storage Technologies, Server Virtualisation Windows, Server Virtualisation Unix (AIX), Database Platform Technolgies (MSSql, Oracle, db2), WAN/LAN Technologies, Cloud technologies or Technology Business Management.

This requires working with a number of stakeholders across the business as you:
- advocate for consistency in solution design and the governed IT environment it intends to implement
- define KPIs and reports as you review and assess solution design whilst investigating the reality of its implementation
- review basic infrastructure components in both smaller local as well as data center locations
- use Data Center Dependency Mapping software (Firescope or equal), review solution design against reality and document the results in the Application Mapping Report
- ensure life cycle management for both hardware and software assets.
The skillset of a CI Librarian
You excel at stakeholder management, have an outgoing personality, and you are a skilled communicator who can gather people on the same path towards success. Moreover, you are able to prioritise and highlight which resources are needed and where. We imagine that you:
- have a basic understanding of IT Infrastructure in an end user as well as a data center context – as well as a basic understanding of IT Management processes and procedures (ITIL)
- understand application architecture/ solution architecture as well as CMDB and CMS concepts
- may have had some exposure to IT Asset Lifecycle Management or Configuration Management
- have a basic understanding of Relational Database Management System concepts and SQL
- are fluent in English
