We are looking for a D365 FI business consultant ready to share and grow
You will be part of a team in IT Finance with 8-10 colleagues, where the majority are employed in Herning and some at our location in Warsaw. We have a positive atmosphere and a willingness to share knowledge and support. We work in an agile environment with daily scrum meetings. This way we all keep close to the work at hand and secure involvement and progress.

The department IT Finance delivers and maintains IT systems supporting the financial management and financial regulatory reporting of the banks.

BEC is embarking on a transformation of existing solutions into a new technological platform. Based on our product strategy and the finance analysis conducted in 2020 in cooperation with our clients, IT Finance is now looking into a strong focus to execute on our new Enterprise Finance Platform (EFP). EFP is a long-term-strategy helping our customers to future-proof their financial and accounting functions. In 2021 EFP is concentrated on the first configurations and implementations of D365 FI and building the first versions of the Financial Accounting Engine (FAE).

Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the role as D365 FI business consultant, you will help implementing and executing our ambitious roadmap and act as a business solution advisor within D365FI. You will work closely with the customers in order to define their needs. The department interacts with a lot of other departments in BEC, and you will have stakeholders both internally and externally. It is your responsibility to facilitate the dialogue with all the stakeholders in a professional way. This also includes working with technical personnel to make sure that business needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions required.

In the position as D365 FI business consultant, your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Clarifying and aligning expectations and needs of our customers in cooperation with your team’s product owner
  • Designing end-to-end functional business processes together with the technical solution architect
  • Prioritizing and breaking down features into user stories and defining acceptance criteria with the product owner
  • Working closely with the developers on building and perform testing in non-production environments
  • Handling incidents and supporting the business
  • Facilitating meetings, presentations and workshops
  • Acting as subject matter expert in IT Finance and train business consultants (colleagues) and super users (customers) in using D365 FI
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and user handbooks

We are looking for you who love to explore and learn!
Preferably, you have an educational background from the financial sector and knowledge of the end-to-end processes of financial management and reporting in a financial institution.

The role will require a broad and in-depth knowledge of D365 FI and the ability to design solutions by mapping customers' business expectations to usable end-to-end business application solutions. Previous project experience (customization, testing, documentation) and AX2012/D365 application maintenance experience are considered a plus.
