In this role, you will be working as a Business Intelligence Developer in our Nordic Business Intelligence department alongside with Data analyst and Data scientists. Our Nordic Team covers Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Together you will be working on translating business needs to innovative and scalable BI solutions, and you will put your experience working with SQL, SSAS, Tabular cubes and Power BI etc. into play to build and enhance our Back-end setup.
Being a part of the Nordic Business Intelligence team means that you will be a key part of our digital journey in the creation of better digital solutions to utilize our data to support the business in even better data-driven decisions. This position will give you a unique opportunity to be part of a journey with a high degree of influence in a multi-cultural environment and within a team that provides innovative, relevant and actionable insight to support a data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or equivalent professional experience.

In this role, you will be working as a Business Intelligence Developer in our Nordic Business Intelligence department alongside with Data analyst and Data scientists. In order to make the grade, you'll have the following:
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of working experience within Business Intelligence and Data Management as a BI Developer.
- Extensive knowledge and working experience with Cubes, Data Mining Models, Deploying and Processing SSAS objects, and writing MDX/DAX queries.
- Knowledge and working experience with Business Intelligence back-end system architecture and database design (MS SQL and Azure).
- Experience in designing information management solutions on premis and in the cloud.
- Extensive knowledge in MS solutions supporting BI and Data Science e.g. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure SQL, MDX, DAX, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, AzureStream Analytics etc.
- Knowledge on Azure Services - SAAS, PAAS, IAAS and containers.
- Experience in CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Knowledge on Data Service API´s
- Good understanding of R, Phyton, .Net and C# is an advantage.
- Have experience working with data analytics and the implementation of business intelligence solutions in a global environment
- Industry knowledge will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing, as well as profound communication skills across organizational levels and cultures.
To succeed in your role, you can refelct yourself in the below:
- Excellent and up to date understanding of Azure cloud services.
- Solid knowledge on working in and with semantic layers.
- Solid knowledge on Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Qlickview, SAP BO, SAS etc.
- A wish to work in a hybrid function between architecture and programming.
- Strong problem solving and solution-oriented skills.
- You have a can-do attitude and strong skills in self-managed way of working but understand the value of being a strong team player and a good colleague.
- You thrive in virtual teams and have to ability to work in cross country teams.
