The Embassy of the UAE in Denmark is seeking an Economical Analyst. In the position as Economical Analyst duties will include researching and reporting on a variety of economy, and trade related issues, building a network of contacts across the Danish private sector and business communities, engaging with contacts to gather information and lobby on behalf of the UAE and organizing events as well as visits in line with Embassy priorities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on Danish economy, economic policy and trade issues and their implications for UAE interests;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Danish and Emirati private sector stakeholders and coordinating policy with Denmark on international issues and lobbying on key priorities for the UAE;
- Identify and seek opportunities for private sector cooperation between the UAE and Denmark;
- Prepare feasibility studies and economic researches. Study and analyze investment opportunities for the UAE;
- Organizing, participating and attending events and conferences organized or attended by the Embassy;
- Participate in welcoming and bidding farewell to guests, delegations and officials of the UAE and accompany them to attend conferences and meetings, such as ministers, senior officials and business delegations;
- Perform any other tasks, including translations.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English, Danish and Arabic preferable;
- Commercial flair with a proven knowledge of the Danish economy and commercial institutions;
- Experience of working in a governmental, policy or international environment;
- A bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, economy or similar
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proven ability to structure, manage and implement projects while working in small multi-disciplined teams.
