At Maersk, we are accelerating our journey to become the global integrator of container logistics - and looking for team players with a strong track record to help us drive the agenda.
We are looking for a candidate to join the Quality Assurance team within a new organisational unit aimed to change the way we work.
Are you passionate making a tangible impact on Maersk’s business (and its customers’ business) by driving better decisions with data? Are you curious about understanding how the business really works through analysis – and then identifying which initiatives will yield the greatest impact?
Are you ready to be challenged to work cross functionally, using your creativity, intellect and teamwork to improve the use of data in decision making?
An opportunity to join a newly created organization (QED) and help shape and build a world class team as we develop new ways of working across Maersk.
Maersk is embarking on an exciting journey that will substantially change the way we conduct our business to ensure we deliver quality products to our customers.
As a Value Realization Analyst, you will work with business stakeholders to identify specific business outcomes for proposed initiatives. You will then work with them to measure delivery of the agreed impact.
You will work with (and manage) an agreed value framework which will drive consistency in the definition of project business cases and will support production and communication of information to track benefits.
You will develop a deep understanding of the relationship between process and outcomes.
We embrace an agile and analytical mindset, it’s important that you want to develop yourself in a learning and evidence driven organization.
As Value Realization Analyst, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Develop and maintain value framework – including standard definitions of business outcomes and links to process performance indicators (working with GPO team)
• Support development of standard business cases – working closely with business leads to identify business outcomes (and owners)
• Maintain a set of core metrics to be used consistently across business cases (e.g. market growth assumptions; volume metrics; FTE costs)
• Develop and own key reports to support benefits/value realization(working closely with MI teams and finance)
• Manage a repository of business cases – supporting development of communications around successful changes and lessons learned.
• Measure value realization across the portfolio being governed by QED
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in a project environment with understanding of business cases and benefits tracking.
Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Shipping an advantage.
You:
• Strategic awareness and performance mindset - able to articulate business drivers for Maersk and how these relate to ongoing initiatives
• Numerate and analytical – experience of finance, reporting, commercial analysis
• Understanding of applications and data structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply frameworks and standards
• Results orientated, fact-based and the patience to take people along on a change journey.
• Confident stakeholder management skills – strong verbal communication in English.
At Maersk we value the diversity of our talent and will always strive to recruit the best person for the job – we value diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to: gender, age, nationality, race, sexual orientation, disability or religious beliefs.
We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength for building high performing teams.
