You will report to the Head of Business Finance - Fleet & Projects working closely with senior business stakeholders and across the Finance function incl. our global service centre.
Main areas of responsibility include:
1) Decision support and analytics
• Driving the financial planning process including forecasts and scenario analytics which includes collaboration with Fleet and Chartering stakeholders and process owners in Maersk Finance
• Convey business intelligence and recommendations to different levels of stakeholders
• Participate and drive several exciting projects including support in business cases
2) Performance Management:
• Partner with the Fleet and Chartering team including senior stakeholders to establish solid performance indicators, ensure goals/targets are known and pursued
• Objectively challenge performance and identify risk and opportunities
• Produce relevant management reports, gap analysis and in-depth analysis of cost optimization initiatives across Fleet and Chartering
3) Contributing to the Maersk Finance community across Business Units and global locations in various projects and learning opportunities. Taking an active role in Finance transformation including automation and simplification
You hold a Master's degree in finance, economics, MBA or equivalent combined with three to five years of work experience in analytical positions, performance management, finance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development or equivalent.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, put well to use in a fast-paced environment and you are highly skilled in Excel, Power Point; experience in SAP and BI systems is a plus.
You enjoy thinking beyond numbers and combining data with strategy, financial insight and creativity.
You are skilled at building strong relationships with key stakeholders coupled with excellent communication skills.
You have the ability to influence and impact, being a team player with intercultural understanding.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
