As Technical Analyst, you will gain broad business knowledge of the company’s activities globally, as well as understand how the complexity of Technology supports the transport and logistics business and how use of Internet of things improving asset management.
You will be exposed to a wide and interesting range of business challenges through regular engagement with key stakeholders across all management levels within Maersk. Your role is to define and refine technical workstream backlog for various IOT product and platform development stream, engage with architects and development team to enable deliveries and align with product managers on various aspects of deliveries.

Key responsibilities


You will be a contributing technical analyst, who is techno functional analyst supporting Scrum teams and collaborate with the other teams in the program. You will be part of a strong IoT and full-stack software engineering team, leading and shaping products and business decisions to help drive digital transformation at one of the largest companies in the world. Your tasks will among other things include the following:
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the business vision, scope and benefits mapping for a project/initiative
• Refine and prioritize product backlog for IOT platform and products engaging with business product owners and maintain product/platform roadmap for upcoming months and years.
• Analyze business needs, understand context, identify solution scenarios, define integration needs, align with architects, and manage backlog and also participate in testing features to ensure delivery meets business expectation.
• Challenge, influence and support the stakeholders to solve issues and help realizing the company vision
• Understand and refine business processes to align with business objective and product roadmap
• Maintain traceability of requirements to policy and standards into requirements e.g., security policies and standards
•Participate and lead Scrum ceremonies, e.g., sprint planning, backlog refinement and task estimation from technical inputs perspective
•Ensure product and platform requirements are complete from functional, non-functional and security perspective
•Work with delivery teams both inhouse and vendors to develop sustainable and achievable solutions & verifying the implementation ensuring the delivered system is consistent with the desired business benefits
•Adopt modern technologies and accelerate innovation in the department by driving cloud-native approach, PaaS paradigm, T-shaped people mindset, DevOps, etc.

We are looking for


•Five or more years of hand on experience as a Technical Analyst, Technical Product Owner, Technical Specialist, or similar role, participating in large, complex IT projects
•Experience building technical products and ability to troubleshoot technical and non-technical problems
•Experience with technologies like .Net, Microservices and exposure to cloud such as Azure
•Great analytical skills in mastering multi-functional highly scalable systems, firm understanding of computer science, networking technologies and design, multi-tenant applications, and database technologies
•Experience in working with Agile, Scrum delivery set up
•Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships
•Experience in working in an international and constantly developing environment
•Stakeholder management skills, experience of leading and influencing resources not under direct line management.
•Ability to understand the bigger picture and drive out key business benefits and business cases where required for products and platforms
•Working knowledge of IT tools and practices (Jira, Confluence, SDLC, ITIL)
•Ability to work under minimal supervision and a good team player
