In your role you will work with operational and financial stakeholders to optimize and develop the business. As a finance business partner, you will be expected to quickly get to know the business and work across the floor. You will identify risks and opportunities for the business and support stakeholders’ decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
As Financial Business Partner you will provide analytical insight and improvement scenarios to the Global Vertical Head (GVH) and support the Commercial Finance needs of the Global Vertical teams.
Other key tasks:
• Provide FBP expertise to GVH on behalf of Head of Commercial Excellence Finance.
• Partner with the GVH, Vertical Excellence Managers & wider Global Vertical Leadership teams.
• Inform and Challenge relevant stakeholders
• Track performance against targets for KC, RW & Booster accounts in assigned Vertical, for Ocean & LnS products across all Brands.
• Improve short and long term performance through relevant, accurate and timely
analytical insight across select vertical based actual performance.
• Contribute to business decisions and drive FBP Excellence for finance support on Customer Tenders, Business Cases and Investment plans.
• Collaborate with Commercial Excellence FBPs to provide and improve visibility, support & analysis to Stakeholders.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in finance or economics combined with more than five years of work experience within finance – experience in Commercial Finance environment an advantage.
You have good knowledge of one or more core financial discipline such as accounting, controlling etc. as well as solid knowledge of one or more of the core products Maersk offers to its customer’s. Insight on FINOPS process is an advantage.
Solid abilities in communicating with senior stakeholders is key.
Furthermore you:
• Are highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, while experience from BI systems is a plus
• Are a strong team player with the ability to engage with and influence, guide and challenge multiple stakeholders
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and collaboration mindset that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization
• Are used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
• Are result driven and have a strong logical and analytical capacity
• Are a self-starter with a strong driving force, striving for continuous improvement and wanting to solve problems even if finding answers are not easy
• Are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
