Would you like to be a trusted finance partner to support the platform lead(s).
This role will partner with a diverse team of Maersk leadership, and it will support various products and solutions within the Technology function.
The Finance Business Partner will drive financial performance for the platform area by providing leadership, guidance and support on financial information, business performance and implementation of strategies.
The right person for this role will demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills, financial aptitude, customer oriented, business intuition, ability to manage day-to-day financials details and the capacity to work at multiple levels, including partnering with all levels of management, including Technology staff, HR and Legal.
Own end-to-end financial planning and spend forecast cycles for the platform portfolio area.
Key responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers and support decision making
- Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting in support of executive management
- Own IO governance for the platform portfolio and drive risk and opportunities views when new investment/initiatives are submitted for approval
- Manage the financial processes and workflow with the GSC in India
- Lead or participate in cross-functional, intra-divisional, and/or global finance projects
- Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to achieve better results; Follow standards and ensure compliance with policies as defined by Corporate.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a relevant education combined with 5-7+ years of finance experience.
You possess strong business judgment and you can frame issues in the context of the big picture.
You have the ability to analyse and present large amounts of in information in a manner that is clear, concise and actionable.
As a person you are a self-starter that can manage projects without a lot of supervision and you deal well with uncertainty, complexity and change.
Accountability, quality and efficiency are front of your mind at all times and you are ready and willing to look across all processes for opportunities to streamline and improve.
