Job Description
As Junior Business Controller you will play a key part in helping us reach our ambitions. You will be the trusted advisor and sparring partner for our leaders and help them deliver on their goals. You will report directly to our International CFO and have close collaboration with local Business Controller.
Core Responsibilities as Junior Business Controller
As a natural do’er you can expect to be involved in tasks regarding business and finance and play a central role in making sure our leaders and managers have full financial transparency. The main tasks will be centered around the following:

Personal characteristics
As a person you thrive during changes and can live up to performance expectations alone and in collaboration with your colleagues. You are perceptive and work in accordance with the rules and regulations stated by the company and government. You have a high degree of independence and the ability to maintain an eye for the details on which quality is the key word in your work.
We offer
At NoHo Denmark you will get the option to work with complex financial challenges and contribute to the company's growth. You will have a central role in the company's finance department and be part of the Headquarters with 6 other staff members.
We will provide an effective onboarding process, which is supported by the Danish Business Controller so that you can settle into your new job well. You will be a part of the pension scheme which includes the company's health insurance.
Salary will be based on qualifications.

Core Responsibilities as Junior Business Controller
As a natural do’er you can expect to be involved in tasks regarding business and finance and play a central role in making sure our leaders and managers have full financial transparency. The main tasks will be centered around the following:
- Sparring, advising and follow up on budgets together with our leaders
- General reporting and following deadlines
- Monthly / annual reporting and closing
- Participating in audit and budgeting process
- Creating strong financial processes together with external accounting partner
- Assisting with various financial tasks
- Reporting to Danish authorities
- Steering payment of vendors
- POS and accounting interface
What do we expect from you?
To succeed at NoHo Denmark, you will need a positive and open minded, collaborative mindset. We are a TEAM, and value honesty and communication. Should you have any challenges that keeps you from reaching your end-goal we expect you to raise the flag in due time, and together we find a solution.
Additionally, we expect that you have the following:
- Experience from a similar role or you are an accountant and want to take the next step.
- Analytical and structured thinking.
- Independent and proactive work style.
- Team player with good collaboration skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Education: You have an accounting education (accountant or equivalent).
- IT: High level, the Office package and especially Excel - of which you would like to be a super user.
- Languages: Fluent in Danish and English at a high level, written and spoken.
