As our new Commercial Business Analyst, you will become an important part of a dedicated and international team in Svitzer HQ. You are responsible for the management of Svitzer’s project pipeline, project prioritisation, development of tools, proposals and business cases along with the internal approval process to sign-off on new investments.
You play a lead role in developing our growth strategy by supporting our regions on business case analytics, challenging the assumptions and organisation (at all levels), ensuring internal business case proposal based on the strongest possible financial model.
The role is essential for bringing our ambitoius strategy to life and is a great career oppoortuntiyin an international environment with a sound company culture and great colleagues.
Growth Pipeline
• Regularly maintain Project Pipeline in conjunction with CCO and the Leadership Team;
• Maintain and develop a prioritization tool in line with business needs.
Tender and Project Management
• Ensure high-quality business case and financial models for all growth projects;
• Driving global collaboration and take lead on ensuring best practice sharing across functions and regions
• Responsible for the quality, accuracy and completeness of information presented in Svitzer’s proposal;
• Drive continuous improvement by contributing with ideas on how to improve the business develop process as well as Svitzer’s overall proposal quality.
Business Cases
• Responsible for preparation, vetting and submission of business cases for new investments;
• Take a lead in ensuring cost leadership and cost accuracy methodology is applied on all business cases and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure optimal set-up
You come with solid experience from a similar area within business development, tender management or financial analysis and have a proven track record in managing relationships across borders and hierarchy.
You possess excellent communication skills and as a keen team player, you can engage your colleagues in common goals but at the same time make decisions and work independently with your tasks.
You thrive with working in an international environment and are eager to learn and expand your areas of expertise and responsibility.
Additional skills important for the position are;
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite
• In-depth knowledge and experience in financial management, business case preparation and corporate structuring.
• Experience in packaging and presenting business models and strategy papers to senior management.
• Preferably a bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar
