Business Analyst for Group Procurement – Do you have the analytical and interpersonal skills to take on the role?
DFDS is looking for a Business Analyst with the purpose of strengthening the Group Direct Procurement team. The Group Procurement department is progressing on a journey towards becoming a strong integrated partner to the business and we are focusing on further developing the Direct Procurement area, both from a strategic and analytical point of view.
We are thus looking for a person with great analytical skills, a passion for providing high quality support to internal stakeholders across DFDS. The right candidate should be able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Are you proactive and enjoy working with complicated data collection, analytics and engaging with stakeholders? Then this job as Business Analyst within Group Procurement may very well be the next step on your career path.
The right candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support to the Category Managers and Sourcing Managers in the Direct Procurement team. You will work on data collection, data validation and analysis to build business cases, development of initiatives and monitor performance monitoring of saving projects, supplier performance and category development.

We believe that the right candidate is a person with great analytical skills and a person that puts pride in providing high quality support for their colleagues and stakeholders. You have good communication skills and very good at presenting information in a comprehensive and concise manner. Your problem-solving is characterized by getting the details right, by being organized and structured. You have an eye for optimization and have a mind set for continuous improvement of working procedures and at the same time you are not afraid of picking up the phone or have a face to face conversation with both internal and external stakeholders.
We would like to enforce the reporting in certain areas and the right candidate should thus be experienced or super-user in Excel, preferable used to working with pivot tables, power pivots and if you know how to work with Think Cell integrations to/from PowerPoint, macros and VBA, this is a plus but not a requirement.

- Provide and support reporting to internal stakeholders
- Perform ad hoc data analyses and ad-hoc support to Category Managers
- Develop dashboard tools
- Support Category Managers with data collection and analysis, preparation of documentation and implementation of such in the organization
- Support Category Managers in some of their supplier negotiations and with the RFQ process (e-sourcing)
- Lead the contract management process for smaller suppliers
Additionally, you will also support with the following:
- Manage the sign-off process and reporting hereof for all Categories
- Manage our spend cube and build key visuals for automated category overview reporting
- Be actively involved and manage some of the workstreams in the e-sourcing Project
- Provide reporting and ad hoc support to the VP, Head of Procurement
