Do you have experience and strong competencies within Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)? Would you like the opportunity to work with predictive and prescriptive analytics? The position

You will be part of our BI, OT and Automation team. You will be developing analytical solutions, dashboards, and reports for our departments, both local and global, across the entire value chain.
You can expect your tasks to include:

  • designing and delivering data visualizations, dashboards, and report solutions with the aim of simplifying the overview of data
  • using your analytical skills to cooperate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver usable products
  • understanding data infrastructure and requesting creation of data pipelines from our global IT team and our internal data warehouse specialist
  • working closely with business users to identify data analysis and reporting opportunities.

You are keen to understand business, ask questions, and dive into data. You will work closely together with business users from line of business and understand their needs, while making them understand the technical possibilities and limitations within our IT systems.

You like to interact closely with departments understanding their processes and facilitating the progress on BI tasks and projects. And you will become one of our experts on the BI tools.

Qualifications
The position is new and therefore also needing your footprint on it. This means that you will be able to set your personal imprint. If you have some of the following skills and experience, you could be the person we are looking for:

  • Academic or technical background (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Informatics or similar data-centered discipline)
  • A solid understanding of data modelling (3NF, Star, Snowflakes, Fact)
  • Data visualization and storytelling skills
  • Hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions
  • Experience with SQL and DAX coding languages.


The following will also be considered a plus:

  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Prior experience with Python/R or Jupyter notebooks
  • Experience with UI/UX modelling
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform especially PowerApps & Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies.

Maybe you come from a similar position or an operation position and want to try some more specific tasks within creating data visualizations. You master English, both written and spoken, and Danish would also be a plus, but it is not a must.

As a person, you are structured and committed, and you are a team player who can work both in teams and independently, focusing on efficiency and business value in all tasks being executed.

We expect you to be able to commit yourself at all organizational levels and be a positive partner for our production units. As everyday life is changing in relation to the rate of production, it is important that you thrive in a changing environment and can take responsibility, as well as show great flexibility and patience.

In case you have acquired your data visualization skills with alternative tools like Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, or Alteryx, your application is just as well appreciated.

About the Department
You will be part of Technical services’ BI, OT and Automation team and be responsible for our production systems in CPH. The team is diverse and consists of 12 dedicated colleagues. In the team, we emphasize always having a helpful and relaxed tone. Xellia offers a flexible working environment with the possibility of home office days. You will be dedicated to BI but have strong roots in the OT & Automation team to ensure alignment and colleagues you can collaborate with.
