Commercial Asset Manager

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We construct wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our company of over 400 employees handles a pipeline of more than 40 GW of renewable energy in various project stages. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Poland, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, and Spain. We are looking for a Commercial Asset Manager to join our skilled asset management team. The team is taking the front role in the commercial and technical management of our renewable energy projects from the commencement of operations. One of the teams´ main goals is the optimization of the operating assets throughout their lifespan.
As our new Commercial Asset Manager, you will coordinate and handle all commercial aspects concerning operations and asset management of the projects. You will assist in the further development of our asset management function and create solid long-term client relationships.

Areas of responsibilities
- Have full commercial responsibility for your appointed PV and wind assets
- Ensure good and trustful relationship with investors, local partners, utilities, PPA partners, landowners, etc. and close collaboration with internal stakeholders e.g., Group Finance, PPA team, and Project team
- Income and expense controlling for projects in operation
- Follow-up on financial budgets incl. deviation analysis and liquidity forecasts
- Contract negotiation and follow-up on contractual obligations (ratios, guarantees, warranties, etc.)
- Commercial and financial optimization
- Investor and bank reporting
Your profile
- You have a master’s degree or similar within Finance or Economy
- You have relevant work experience, for example as an Asset Manager, Business Controller, Financial Controller, or similar
- You have a solid financial understanding
- You are a superuser in Excel
- You work freely, effectively, and thrive in taking responsibility
- You possess solid and professional communication skills in Danish and English
