Business Development Manager Wind, Sweden

European Energy is an international company in exponential growth. We develop, build, and operate wind and solar parks as well as Power-to-X and energy storage projects globally. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving climate issues by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. We are around 350 employees of 30 different nationalities, and we have installed green energy projects for over 18 billion DKK since 2004.

As our new Business Development Manager Wind, you will work with European Energy’s future projects in Sweden and the Nordics. You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks within screening and acquiring new projects within the renewable energy industry with a main focus on on-shore wind. In close collaboration with our colleagues, you will buy project rights on an ongoing basis and keep an overview on the market development in Sweden. A big part of the role involves frequent dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the industry.

Primary responsibilities

• Screen for new acquisition targets within onshore Wind
• Buy project rights in collaboration with other internal departments such as transaction services
• Maintain a continuous dialogue with stakeholders in the industry.
• Overview of renewable energy market development

Professional skills we expect from you

• You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within business, engineering or law
• Experience conducting market intelligence and screening of potential projects
• Experience in transaction processes
• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind and solar technologies
• You are an expert user in MS Office
• You master Swedish and English
