As Development Manager, you will be part of the Development Leadership team consisting of four Development Managers, who meet regularly, spare, and discuss leadership and business matters.

You will be a key player and have a leadership role focusing on engaging a global development team in ensuring effective and efficient software development. You motivate your team to deliver high standards and use best practices in software development to succeed.

You will be overall responsible for a global team with employees in Dhaka, Oslo, Hamburg, and Aarhus with Scrum Master and Software Developers using technologies such as PHP, Java, Python, TypeScript, and Angular.

The role also builds and maintains a very solid bridge for collaboration with product management and other department managers.

You direct report to Executive Vice President, Development.

Your main tasks are:

• Lead, motivate, and engage the global team
• Ensure continuous development of your team by understanding individual motivation, delegating responsibilities, and setting clear expectations
• Help formulate and implement processes for efficient and consistent delivery of value
• Assist in the planning of new features and products internally in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

There is more than one entry for this position. You may already have strong leadership experience from a software development department with many developers, or you can see this is the next step in your career.

Your qualifications are a solid technical background with knowledge of software development and digital development processes. You have managed a software team working agile and are used to collaborating with stakeholders across an organisation. You are fluent in English and can make yourself understandable in Danish.

You have a Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in software development or the like.

You are an emphatic person with excellent leadership skills. You have a structural approach and see yourself as a strong communicator. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are natural to you. You are a team player and have an independent, self-motivated personality.
