Storytelling Coordinator

We are looking for a creative coordinator with a flair for activism, communication, and movement building. Are you a strong communicator and can you share engaging stories from young activists and movement leaders? Does coordination with various content developers across time zones, continents and issues not scare you? And are you excited about bringing together activists in engaging digital communities to enhance their struggles? Then you might be our new Global Storytelling Coordinator.

Team Context:

ActionAid Denmark (AADK) supports youth-led activism and social movements through our Global Platforms (GP) Network, physical spaces for organising and learning, based in more than 25 countries around the world. Additionally, the Global Social Movement Center (MOVE) – led by partners in Nigeria, India, Tanzania and El Salvador - is supporting social movements directly with knowledge, capacity, strategic funding for actions or acts of solidarity.

In recent years we have explored the opportunity and feasibility of supporting stronger digital communities that transcend and bring together the activists we work with locally, nationally, and globally as well as to reach out to new activists and movements. To facilitate this, we need to find efficient and inviting ways to build connectedness between activists worldwide. The new Storytelling Coordinator will work with the MOVE and Global Platforms teams to support the digital communities that link to our key political themes.
