The Business Development & Strategy team in Global Retail is now looking for a skilled and ambitious colleague to join our exciting journey with an ambition to become the #1 hearing aid player in the world.
Team and objectives
The Business Development & Strategy team reports directly to the SVP, Global Retail and is overall responsible for driving key strategic and tactical projects in our retail division. This includes being a partner to our countries, focusing on building commercial opportunities and empowering people to solve commercial challenges.
Working in the Business Development & Strategy team involves direct interactions with many different people across the world and as such travelling can be expected (around 50 travel days per year). Our success is measured by the positive impact we have on the people and businesses we work with.
Your Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you are expected to create results and drive a highly impactful agenda through a combination of close collaboration and stakeholder management as well as personal contribution on deep-dive tasks.

We expect you to have spent the past two-four years in a top tier consulting house or in an in-house strategy/business development role and are now looking to become part of an organization where you can follow the impact of your work and build long-term relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
As a person, you are motivated by seeing the results of your work as well as engaging with others to create them. You are robust, diligent, curious and impactful. Your approach is self-starting, and you convincingly engage stakeholders on all levels of the organization, from senior management to sales representative.
You most likely fit the following profile:
The corporate language is English, and you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Danish is not a necessity.

- Drive key commercial optimization and growth initiatives
- Support strategic planning with senior management
- Drive integration efforts
- Manage M&A transactions, including integration planning, implementation and follow-up
- Market and competitor intelligence and due diligence

- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience from top tier consulting or in-house strategy department
- Strong analytical toolbox with an ability to solve complex problems from a quantitative and holistic perspective
- Strong experience in strategy and integration implementation
- Track record of running projects independently
- High degree of empathy and ability to interact across the organization in a global cross-cultural setting
- Strong communication skills
- Strong competencies in Excel and PowerPoint
