The job: Global Market Development Manager, Fine Chemical Products (Band 7)
As Global Market Development Manager you are the hub that connects the many spokes of the marketing wheel - product management, Marcom, regional marketing, channels, etc. to move the Fine Chemicals Products business forward. You will focus on projects and tactics that will have the greatest impact on the customer, revenue generation and achieving your KPIs. Critical to this is helping the regions execute on the marketing plan.
The GMD function leads global marketing plan development working with BU and commercial leads. We define customer segments, and develop effective global campaigns to drive awareness, demand, and on-going usage to create loyal customers. We represent the FCP brands & go to market excellence.
Where will you work?
Aligned to the regional nature of the role and associated 25% travel, the role-holder can be home based remotely through Europe within reasonable distance to an international airport.

The job: Global Market Development Manager, Fine Chemical Products (Band 7)

Where will you work?

What will you do?
- Develop strategic marketing plans for brands including analysis of customer segments, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities.
- Develop and execute engaging, bold tactical marketing campaigns for new and/or existing brands.
- Management of marketing KPI targets allowing global plan development & tactic optimization
- Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing programs.
- Create and implement appropriate marketing content across multiple channels, including social media, web, video, print, and more.
- Develop and manage sales training and customer education material in collaboration with product management, R&D, commercial and regional teams.
- Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards.
- Interact with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach.
- Work closely with channel and regional marketing development managers to build and execute marketing programs within their regions.
- Support the transformation of global business go-to-market strategy into regionally relevant, inspiring marketing that creates customer value, revenue, and growth for the LCD business in the region.
- Support annual trade show package planning and delivery.
Who we are looking for:experience, skills & abilities
- Solid experience developing marketing strategy and successfully implementing marketing plans.
- Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.
- Knowledge of the following key competencies: 4Ps and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, segmentation, voice of customer, value proposition and marketing program development and execution.
- Proficient in written and spoken English plus a second language would be preferred.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science or engineering – preferred, not required
