We are seeking a talented Risk Analyst for our Trade Control team. You will get hands on experience with the structure of a trading organisation handling Bunker Fuels, Blending and Refining of various crude products.
The bunker fuels industry is undergoing massive changes in the near future that will affect a large amount of players in the Market.
As the worlds largest shipping company, Maersk Oil Trading supplies the fuel strategy for bunkering across the globe and is expanding the business.

We are seeking a talented Risk Analyst for our Trade Control team.
You will get hands on experience with the structure of a trading organisation handling Bunker Fuels, Blending and Refining of various crude products.
The job is an excellent opportunity to get familiar with various trading products and strategies, while learning the basics in a traditional middle office function.
Key responsibilities:
• Controlling and reporting of daily positions
• Profit Loss Reporting
• Value at Risk
• Front Office interaction
• Performance Evaluations
The ideal candidate has a background in Finance/Economics/Math with focus on Financial instruments (Derivatives).
Preferably You:
• Have experience with PowerBI and SQL related databases
• Have experience within reporting and meeting deadlines
• Are an Excel Superuser.
• Have experience with Trading Systems
• Have an analytical mindset - able to logically sort out problems
• Experience with VBA programming or a similar coding language. Experience with SQL related databases is a plus.
During a standard work day you will get to interact with the Front Office traders that will challenge your work and question your abilities.
We are seeking an individual, who has confidence and an outgoing personality that can interact with the Front Office team and provide sound and valid inputs for the discussions.
