Position Overview:

The Business Development Expert is a key role dedicated to the drive business development for the IMMULITE Franchise. In this position you will have the unique opportunity to build upon a strong legacy and demonstrate your creativity and determination by growing the IMMULITE Allergy and Veterinary business. He/ She will align sales strategies and grow business opportunities and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels for the assigned organizational units while collaborating with other team members to demonstrate the value of the SHS Lab portfolio to all customer key stakeholders and decision makers. He/ She will be a clinical expert with deep knowledge of IVD Allergy diagnostics focusing on GBI and NRB and leading Veterinary business development across the EMEA Region.

This role will partner with Global and Regionals Marketing, Strategic Corporate Accounts, Sales, Scientific & Clinical Affairs and other cross-functional leads. This role requires an understanding of market and customer segmentation, expertise in commercial execution, and ability to assess gaps and/or pain points to propose product and/or portfolio changes and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the execution and development of IMMULITE strategy.
  • Assists the commercial sales team throughout the sales cycle by visiting laboratories in the zone and by providing clinical support and education on SHS allergy products - internally (FAS & sales) & externally (laboratory staff as well as allergists and pediatricians).
  • Establish a network allergy KOLs in the zone, collaborate with local Marketing colleagues to support product evaluations and scientific lectures when appropriate.
  • Understand the competitive landscape across the clinical landscape and identifying key differentiators of the SHS portfolio.
  • Responsible for leading business development for Veterinary across EMEA – Creating and executing the Go To Market strategy for Veterinary.
  • Collects portfolio requirements across the regional sales force.
  • Advises Region and franchise management in evaluating strategic options for IMMULITE.
  • Supports Sales team to populate funnel and leverage opportunities.
  • Identifies and qualifies additional allergy opportunities.
  • Contribute to and implement pricing strategy to ensure profitable growth of the franchise.
  • Drive Installed base programs for Retention & Conversion.


Impact:

Impact of this role will we measure in terms of IMMULITE engagement created within the Siemens Healthineers sales force as well as our customers. Driving Profitable growth, Expanding customer base, driving clinical preference for IMMULITE and improving Win rate and coverage for the business are key success parameters. For veterinary success to be demonstrated by creating wider awareness and increased market share for IMMULITE. Through these actions, also ensuring that we can improve our success in Install Base Retention and conversion.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven history of successful sales with at least 3-5 years of experience in the Immunodiagnostics industry, especially Allergy.
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Ability to manage and resolve complex business problems, at times in the absence of existing procedures or practices.
  • Comfortable with working in multi-cultural environments across different countries and languages.
  • You have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Ability of develop an understanding of strong product knowledge on Immunodiagnostics testing.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Willing to travel at least 50%.
