Are you interested in an exciting commercial opportunity within an innovative industry leader to further develop and market the Icopal brand and grow the flat roof business in the Nordics?

As Nordic Product Innovation Manager for Icopal Flat roofs at BMI Group, you will have functional management with indirect leadership of team members across the Nordic & Group organisation.
With direct report to the Nordic Head of Portfolio Management – Icopal, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the innovation strategy for Icopal Flat roofs in the Nordics.
Your main tasks will be to:
Your qualifications include minimum 5 years of experience in commercial Product and Project Management roles preferably in an international, large-scale matrix organisation. You may have gained experience from the building materials industry as well as from outside the industry, preferably from B2B2C environments.
You have a relevant business-oriented higher education, e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc. Economics, Marketing, Business Administration or similar. Native in one of the Scandinavian languages, and fluent in English.
You are a person who thrives in a dynamic environment which is characterized by a high pace. You are ambitious with a global mindset and the will and ability to work hands on with practical issues as well as having the strategic overview.
BMI Group offers an exciting opportunity as Innovation Manager for the Nordics within Icopal, and you will be a member of the Nordic Portfolio Management – Icopal team.
Travelling: The role requires regular travelling between the offices in Denmark and Sweden, approximately 10% of the time. There will also be some limited travelling in the other two Nordic countries as well as a few trips to the Technical centre and production sites. Though there is an opportunity to work weekly up to two days from home.

- Develop an insights-based, market-focused and Brand relevant Nordic innovation strategy and roadmap for 3-5 years ahead. Sustainability agenda plays a big role here.
- Lead and be responsible for Icopal flat roofs innovation projects in cooperation with the BMI Technical Center and other group as well as local functions
- Create relevant business cases for opportunities in the Nordics (including managing Request Change Notifications when needed)
- Regularly analyse market data in relevant target groups per country, main competitor’s product offerings and price positionings & customer needs/behaviours
- Contribute to developing systems and solutions attractive to the entire value chain (cooperate with local technicians to understand local building regulations and traditions); train sales force on these
- Ensure documentation is fulfilled and accessible according to regulations for both new products and solutions (certificates, PDS, MSDS, installation manuals etc)
- Create change via influential management
