The position as Business Improvement Partner is newly established and the purpose is to strengthen LEAN in ALK, which will support us in our journey towards Global Operational Excellence. We are fast growing and expected to support the manufacturing and quality processes, so we can deliver to our patients suffering with allergy around the World.

The position

As Business Improvement Partner, you will be a key driver for our LEAN development and LEAN agenda across departments and deliver on the site Operational Excellence Strategy in close partnership with your team. You will be part of the Business Improvement Team at our Site in Hørsholm working within Production, Manufacturing Support and Quality Control. The Business Improvement Team are sharing best practices, having sparring with each other’s, helps each other with tools, standards, and support for what is needed.

Your primary daily work will be focusing on the improvement in your own department, you will be part of the area management team and you will report directly to the director of the area.

You will support your colleagues by helping in identifying and driving improvements of stability, process reliability and standardisation across the site. You will lead relevant optimisation initiatives, focused shopfloor coaching and training at all organisational levels and educate our leaders in our LEAN standards such as performance boards, systematic problem solving and process confirmation.

Your profile

You hold a higher education and have solid experience within LEAN Management & tools. Preferably, you are familiar with tools and methods like Kaizen, 5S, SPS, TPM, VSM, SMED etc. and you have a strong databased mindset. You have experience with implementing optimisations, new standards, and new ways of working.

Qualifications that bring you into consideration:

  • Broadly experience in LEAN, TPM and understand the need and the why
  • Experience with GxP and Pharma industry is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Being a proactive, problem-solving doer with the ability to set direction
  • Analytic and data-driven
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with empathy and respect for others
  • Proficient skills using MS Office and general IT-system flair
  • English proficiency spoken and written

You naturally involve and motivate your stakeholders to realise the business targets and manage to challenge people in an empathic and respectful way.
