In our continuous effort to make a difference for patients with intimate healthcare needs, we are always developing and refining products to solve the problems our consumers have and improve their quality of life. And so, behind every Coloplast product are dedicated project teams working on understanding patient needs and challenges and developing clinically differentiated products accordingly.
In our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join a team of 8 colleagues in the Scientific Affairs team. You will also be part of product development project teams where you will gather clinical documentation for our products under development and help us ensure that we adhere to the new medical device regulation that will be implemented in May 2020.

We are very excited about this, but we also know that it will bring many new challenges and require clinical data to be gathered with a new and faster approach. Participate in the development of medical devices
With every new development project, you do deep and thorough clinical research to provide inputs on the products to the project manager. Doing so, you ensure we go in the right direction on product design, use of materials, regulatory approvals price and tenders and everything in between. Once past the concepting stage, you will be responsible for developing the clinical documentation that is vital to have the products approved in the right markets.
Specifically, you:
Knowledgeable about clinical trials and research
Being communicative and collaborative, you are excited by the prospect of working together within your functional team, other project teams and the entire Coloplast organisation to drive evidence-based product development. You are motivated by writing larger scientific reports and have experience from clinical research. You have an innate curiosity that drives you to do extensive literary research as required in the projects, but you also possess the ability to navigate and sort through all the information obtained and extract the essence of the knowledge to pass it on to the project team.

Participate in the development of medical devices

Specifically, you:
- Support and partake in the creation of clinical strategies together with your team
- Prepare literature reviews, clinical evaluation reports, data-on-file documents, clinical data presentations and clinical investigation reports
- Prepare evidence-based argumentation for price discussions in collaboration with Market Access
- Communicate with project teams and many other divisions in Coloplast, such as Regulatory, Marketing and Pharmacovigilance, to gather necessary information required for the product under development and provide knowledge of the newest clinical studies
Knowledgeable about clinical trials and research
Being communicative and collaborative, you are excited by the prospect of working together within your functional team, other project teams and the entire Coloplast organisation to drive evidence-based product development. Furthermore, You:
- Have 2+ years’ experience as a medical writer, clinical scientist, scientific specialist or similar working with clinical development and clinical trials/clinical research
- Have - preferably - experience from the medical device industry, or alternatively pharma, giving you solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, research methodologies, databases and GCP within this area
- Hold a master’s degree, or preferably a PhD, in medical sciences, biochemistry or the like
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
