As the new Operations Project Lead at Svitzer Europe, you will be joining Svitzer Europe Operations team and report directly to the COO of Svitzer Europe. Your main responsibilities will be to lead regional Operations projects and priorities in a role based in Copenhagen, Denmark and with strong touch points across Svitzer’s Europe operations in the region.
This role has focus on driving continuous improvement and optimization through incremental initiatives and performance management as well as larger transformational projects with focus on project and change management.
You will be actively contributing to developing and executing the Svitzer Europe growth agenda and improving the customer experience in collaboration with cluster organisation, regional functions and in alignment with Svitzer HQ Operations. You will also drive standardisation and optimisation by leveraging our global ownership advantage, expertise and data available.

Your main tasks will be:
• Developing and executing an operational model of excellence linked to improving the customer experience and maintain compliant, consistent, cost-efficient and robust operations execution across Europe.
• Drive and be responsible for the operational Project Management of cross-functional projects such as solving hotspots and implementing structural changes.
• Influence, execute and operationalize on strategically important initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement together with your peers in the Europe Operations Leadership team
Required/Preferred Education
• Master Degree or equivalent academic qualifications
• Project management certification equivalent or on-the-job training
Training and competencies
• Excellent project management skills and experience with LEAN, Design Thinking and/or Agile ways of working
• Demonstrated successful experience implementing cross functional change and delivering transformation projects
• A structured and analytical self-starter with a sense of urgency and an eye for details
• Ability to influence, lead and collaborate in a matrix organisation
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience with working in a global organisation and the offshore marine sector
Experience with project management platforms, for example MS Projects, Jira or other similar platform.
Once traveling is again allowed, you should expect this role to required you to do some traveling within Europe primarily. We will review applicants on an ongoing basis, so please do send your application as soon as possible.
