The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys, that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs.
Maersk is seeking a curious, results-oriented Business Insights Analyst to join the Platform team to leverage data and analytics tools to help drive effective business and product decisions. The Platform team's goal is to drive the strategic digital and business transformation across Maersk’s businesses and delivering on the vision to make Maersk a global end-to-end integrated container logistics business.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, relentlessly curious, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The Business Insights Analyst will be responsible for working with a variety of cross-functional teams to understand Maersk’s business, product and technology landscape and develop key performance indicators (KPIs), design and publish reports and build insights using data from variety of teams. The Analyst will contribute to furthering the understanding of the platforms contribution to business strategy by forming hypotheses, proposing new KPIs and innovating on ways of working to improve the customer experience to achieve Maersk’s vision. The BIA will be responsible for three critical customer facing platforms from lead to cash.
Responsibilities include:
• Update existing metrics, and ideate new metrics and reporting, that help drive business conclusions, continually improving reporting and analysis processes.
• Interface with stakeholder teams to source metrics from a wide variety of sources.
• Share customer insights as new products and initiatives are identified, prioritized, implemented, and deployed.
• Manage communications with multiple levels of stakeholders, collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to drive projects, and ensure reports and insights are usable across a spectrum of internal customers.
• Test the effectiveness and efficiency of different initiatives to improve key output metrics and help shape the long-term strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced working knowledge of reporting and analyzing data using SQL, ETL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting effectively across all levels.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound business judgment, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analysis, data analysis, econometrics, or statistical analysis role.
• Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science/ML, Meteorology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data engineering and data pipelining.
• Experience with Data Science / ML using Python and R
