We offer

This is an exciting career opportunity in an international, challenging business setting known for diversity and high paced environment. You will get to focus on creating valuable relations with current and new customers and work with highly professional teams in an environment where you will be valued, recognized and well rewarded. 

An exciting student position based in Copenhagen where you will;

  • Help build financial capabilities required to deliver Maersk’s ambitious 2040 decarbonization strategy.

  • Gain hands-on work experience in the field of financial controlling and performance management within an Energy Trading environment.

  • 15 to 20-hour work week with flexibility as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare performance analysis and reporting for MEM management review.

  • Perform financial controls and identity opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis of MEM financials to support decision making.

  • Identify, develop, and deliver financial process improvements and automations.


Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor or Master student in the field of Finance and Business.

  • Passionate about sustainability, global trade and solving complex business problems.

  • Advanced user of Excel.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using Power Point.

  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in an area of high complexity and ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Danish is not required.
