The Go with Maersk Graduate Programme is an accelerated learning experience where you in addition to your job rotations will have receive training as well as mentoring and coaching from senior leaders in Maersk and strategic brands as Svitzer. As part of Svitzer’s Global Commercial function, we offer a great opportunity to play a supporting role in driving Svitzer’s business strategy and having an impact on the future of our company.
You will be joining an industry leader and contribute to our ambition of transforming the towage industry. The position offers the right candidate an opportunity to join an ambitious, international and rapidly expanding company.
The role is based at our Head Office in Copenhagen, where a lean and flat structure and a mindset of autonomy creates a performance driven culture with significant independence to impact your role and ultimately the performance of our company.
• Take a lead role in growth projects as well as strategic projects;
• Assist in building and maintaining high-quality business case and financial models for all growth projects;
• Driving global collaboration and ensuring best practice sharing across functions and regions
• Drive continuous improvement by contributing with ideas on how to improve the business develop process as well as Svitzer’s overall proposal quality.
• Contributor to business cases; preparation, vetting and submission for new investments;
You have a keen interest in business development, tender management, project management or financial analysis and is a future strong manager of stakeholder relationships across borders and hierarchy.
You possess excellent communication skills and as a keen team player, you can engage your colleagues in common goals but at the same time make decisions and work independently with your tasks.
You are passionate about creating an international career and eager to learn and expand your areas of expertise and responsibility in the Svitzer/Maersk organisation.
Additional skills important for the position are;
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite
• Knowledge of financial management, business case preparation and corporate structuring is an advantage
• A Master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar
• Exposure to other cultures through international work or study
