Hi, my name is Casper, and I am the Head of Finance in Svitzer. Right now, I am looking for a new dedicated colleague for a very interesting role with great potential here in our HQ in Copenhagen.

As our new Financial Analyst, you will be part of a very dedicated, competent, and fun-loving team of 14 people in Group Finance. We monitor and control finance and financial reporting for 4,000 employees and 440 vessels operating worldwide to service more than 150 ports and terminals across the globe.

You will, in the first couple of years, be fully allocated to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamic, Svitzer’s new ERP system. After this, you will be part of the run-mode Finance organisation.

Key responsibilities


As Financial Analyst, you will in the beginning be dedicated to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamic, Svitzer’s new ERP system, and will support the rest of your cross-functional colleagues on the ERP implementation journey to deliver on the following tasks and responsibilities:

Localisation:
For the AMEA region you will facilitate, gather and evaluate the localisation requirements, prior to the roll-out of the ERP system. Among other, this will be understanding the direct and indirect tax implications jointly with your tax colleagues, understanding the bank setup and other localisation requirements.

Process mapping, SOP’s, and training material:
As part of the design phase of the ERP system, you will assist with the process mapping and ensure that the related SOPs are updated for the different sub-processes within ATR. You will also be instrumental in updating the training material to prepare for the roll-out to entities.

Roll-out of ERP system:
You will be the focal point for the roll-out of the ERP system to the AMEA region where you have gathered the localisation requirement and built a strong network with the various stakeholders. This will also entail training to the end users as well as supporting users in the system during hyper care.

Cross-functional Business Partnering:
As the implementation project is highly cross-functional between ATR, PTP and OTC you will work closely with your cross functional colleagues within the project, but you will also be working closely with the other business partners within Svitzer’s run mode organisation, which among others will be the run mode BPO’s.

You are committed to delivering results and meeting deadlines where decisions are followed by prompt action. As the ERP implementation follows the agile methodology, it will be a plus if you have experience with this, but it is not a requirement.

The ideal candidate has;
• A relevant master’s degree in Economics or business and comes with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience from management consulting or an international company and have a solid Financial background.
• Good understanding of IT and systems.
• Fluency in both oral and written English.
• A valid Danish residence and work permit
